Bon Secours Mercy Health Cancer Institute at St. Mary’s Hospital is seeking a BE/BC classical Hematologists for a growing practice. The ideal candidate should be enthusiastic and personable, interested in the professional development and growing the practice. In addition, the candidate should be visible in community engagement and is needed. The Bon Secours Cancer Institute is found on the campus of St. Mary’s Hospital. This is a busy Hematology/ Oncology practice with a significant referral base from primary care and specialists within the health system. New graduates are welcome to apply!
Job Details:
· Fulltime -Monday – Friday 8am to 4:30pm
· Practice Setting – Outpatient & Hospital Based
· Call schedule – Shared call with partnering medical oncologist. Evenings & weekends.
· Hospital Credentialing: Richmond Community Hospital & St. Mary’s Hospital
· Average Patients per day: 35 to 40
· Patient Range: All adult / Geriatric
· Training & Skills Required: Board Certification of a Medical Oncologists.
· Special Procedures: Brachytherapy, HDR procedures, Prostate Seed Implants
· EMR: EPIC, telemedicine, Doxy.me
· Practice Support: LPN, RN, Practice Manager
· Teaching Opportunities: Tumor Boards, COC Accredited facility
· Other Ancillary Services: LCSW, Nurse Navigators & Dietitian
