We study immunobiology of T-cells engineered with chimeric antigen receptors (CARs) and create new cell therapies for cancer and other diseases. We investigate molecular mechanisms regulating the activity of CAR T-cells and develop new strategies for clinical translation. We utilize protein engineering and genome editing to create T-cell therapies against incurable cancers and develop rejection-resistant allogeneic cell therapies.</p>

(IHI) is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Adult Hematologist with expertise in <strong>Classical (Non-Malignant) Hematology</strong> to join our nationally recognized comprehensive care team. This is a unique opportunity to practice at one of the nation&rsquo;s leading centers for benign hematology while contributing to clinical innovation, program development, and academic advancement.</p>
<h1><strong><span style="font-size: 20.0pt; font-weight: normal;">Position Overview</span></strong></h1>
<p>The Adult Hematologist &ndash; Classical Hematology will:</p>
<ul>
<li style="text-align: justify;">Provide comprehensive care across the spectrum of benign hematologic disorders, including hemostasis, thrombosis, anemia, and complex multisystem conditions</li>
<li style="text-align: justify;">Participate in and help expand specialized programs within classical hematology, including bleeding disorders, thrombosis, red cell disorders, and women&rsquo;s health</li>
<li style="text-align: justify;">Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team of <strong><span style="font-weight: normal;">more than </span>20 physicians </strong><strong><span style="font-weight: normal;">and more than </span>20 advanced practice providers</strong></li>
<li style="text-align: justify;">Contribute to clinical program development, quality improvement initiatives, and care model innovation</li>
