Mayo Clinic is seeking a board certified / board eligible pediatric hematologist to join our growing team!  Mayo Clinic is an NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center and a federally designated Comprehensive Hemophilia Treatment Center with 11 pediatric hematologist/oncologists, nine nurse practitioners, and eight specialty nurses.   While the division provides comprehensive care across the full spectrum of pediatric hematologic and oncologic conditions, this role is specifically focused on non-malignant, classical pediatric hematology.

Our non-malignant hematology program provides multidisciplinary, longitudinal care for children with inherited and acquired blood disorders, with particular strengths in bleeding. and clotting, and bone marrow failure disorders. As a Comprehensive Hemophilia Treatment Center, we deliver integrated care for patients with hemophilia and other congenital bleeding disorders, including access to a specialized lab for state-of-the-art testing, specialized nursing, physical therapy, social work, and care coordination services. In addition, our Vascular Malformation Clinic brings together hematology, interventional radiology, surgery, genetics, dermatology, and other specialties to provide coordinated evaluation and management of complex vascular anomalies.

This position is dedicated to the outpatient and inpatient care of children with non-malignant hematologic conditions within a highly collaborative practice. All physicians in the Division of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology share responsibility for the inpatient care of children with blood disorders, cancer, and those undergoing hematopoietic stem cell transplantation at Mayo Clinic Hospital, while maintaining defined areas of clinical focus. The successful candidate will also contribute to the division’s educational mission through teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows. The Mayo Clinic Division of Hematology in Rochester, Minnesota seeks to recruit a physician (MD or MD/PhD) with interest in Classical Hematology. Eligible candidates will focus research, practice, and education efforts on classical hematologic disorders. The Director of Hematology & Medical Oncology will have the critical role of program and faculty development, in order to inspire innovative, best-in-class approaches to cancer care delivery, therapeutic advancements and patient experience.  Working closely across leadership in the Metro Market, Lenox Hill Hospital and across the Cancer Institute, the Director will serve as the lead for programmatic initiatives across Hematology & Medical Oncology in Manhattan, will contribute to a strong, collaborative culture across the division, and will serve as a mentor to both junior faculty, fellows and other trainees.  Finally, the Director will work across the division to develop a clinical and research program that prioritizes innovation, differentiation and patient-centered care.

The Division of Hematology and Cellular Therapy of the Allegheny Health Network Cancer Institute seeks a highly skilled and compassionate physician with extensive experience in the diagnosis, management, and treatment of myeloid malignancy, including expertise in allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (alloHSCT). This position offers a leadership role in a growing and dynamic hematology program dedicated to clinical and translational research and exceptional patient care. The successful candidate will be considered for the directorship of the HSCT program.

Position Summary:

The Physician will provide comprehensive medical care to patients with myeloid malignancy, including but not limited to acute myeloid leukemia (AML), chronic myeloid leukemia (CML), myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS), and myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPN). This includes overseeing all aspects of patient care, from initial diagnosis and treatment planning to follow-up and supportive care. A significant component of the role involves participation in the alloHSCT program, encompassing pre-transplant evaluation, conditioning regimen selection, transplant procedures, post-transplant management, and the management of complications.

Duties:

• Provide comprehensive medical care to patients with myeloid malignancy, including diagnosis, staging, treatment planning, and ongoing management

Mayo Clinic is seeking a board certified / board eligible pediatric hematologist to join our growing team!  Mayo Clinic is an NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center and a federally designated Comprehensive Hemophilia Treatment Center with 11 pediatric hematologist/oncologists, nine nurse practitioners, and eight specialty nurses.   While the division provides comprehensive care across the full spectrum of pediatric hematologic and oncologic conditions, this role is specifically focused on non-malignant, classical pediatric hematology.

Our non-malignant hematology program provides multidisciplinary, longitudinal care for children with inherited and acquired blood disorders, with particular strengths in bleeding. and clotting, and bone marrow failure disorders. As a Comprehensive Hemophilia Treatment Center, we deliver integrated care for patients with hemophilia and other congenital bleeding disorders, including access to a specialized lab for state-of-the-art testing, specialized nursing, physical therapy, social work, and care coordination services. In addition, our Vascular Malformation Clinic brings together hematology, interventional radiology, surgery, genetics, dermatology, and other specialties to provide coordinated evaluation and management of complex vascular anomalies.

This position is dedicated to the outpatient and inpatient care of children with non-malignant hematologic conditions within a highly collaborative practice. All physicians in the Division of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology share responsibility for the inpatient care of children with blood disorders, cancer, and those undergoing hematopoietic stem cell transplantation at Mayo Clinic Hospital, while maintaining defined areas of clinical focus. The successful candidate will also contribute to the division’s educational mission through teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows. Dedicated career development time is built into the position to support scholarly activity, professional growth, and leadership development.

Beyond clinical care, the ideal candidate will engage in clinical research and collaborate with institutional discovery and translational efforts related to non-malignant hematology, bleeding disorders, and vascular anomalies. THE POSITION

The division is recruiting clinical researchers with a focus on contributing to a robust clinical trial portfolio supporting Wilmot Cancer Institute’s patient population and furthering scientific and clinical discovery. This position will focus on treating patients with hematologic malignancies but will also oversee evaluation of treatment of patients with classical hematology conditions, with advanced practitioner support.  Our Cancer Institute is growing rapidly as we are expanding our clinical trial portfolio and positioning ourselves to be a destination cancer program in this region. Vassar Brothers Medical Center provides our hospital systems and multi-specialty practice with tertiary oncology services and is accredited by The American College of Surgeons as a Comprehensive Community Cancer Program.  Vassar has many of the key elements of a comprehensive oncology service line in place, including state-of-the-art radiation oncology and Surgical specialty services in Breast, Thoracic, Gastrointestinal, Gynecologic, Genitourinary Oncology and Hepatobiliary Surgery. The successful applicant will be responsible for overseeing key missions within the MGB Division of Transfusion Medicine and will hold primary clinical duties at one or both academic medical centers (AMCs).

The MGB Division of Transfusion Medicine encompasses an FDA-licensed donor center, therapeutic apheresis, an outpatient transfusion/infusion clinic, a transfusion service, and progenitor cell collection and processing. The faculty member will assume leadership roles within the Division and serve as one of several Medical Directors responsible for a designated area of Transfusion Medicine that aligns with their expertise and interests. While on clinical service, all faculty members are responsible for providing direct patient care and participating in consults. Throughout all service activities, faculty members in the Transfusion Medicine division collaborate closely with clinical colleagues in bone marrow and solid organ transplantation, CAR-T cell therapy, cardiac surgery, trauma and critical care, neurology, and pediatrics. As members of the MGB Division of Transfusion Medicine, our faculty work closely with and share service and teaching responsibilities with all other transfusion medicine faculty throughout the MGB network. The environment provides substantial opportunities for clinical and translational research. Applicants should be committed to excellent patient care, as well as research, scholarship, and effective teaching. Academic rank at the Instructor, Assistant or Associate Professor level at Harvard Medical School and salary will be commensurate with experience and accomplishments. The salary range for full-time employment for this position is $270,000 to $295,000 per year, not inclusive of incentive compensation or benefits.
