The Mayo Clinic Division of Hematology in Rochester, Minnesota seeks to recruit a physician (MD or MD/PhD) with interest in Classical Hematology. Eligible candidates will focus research, practice, and education efforts on classical hematologic disorders. Expertise is required in classical hematology, with an emphasis on non-neoplastic disease such as hemostasis and thrombosis, autoimmune cytopenias, and anemia. Interest and ability to care for some malignant hematologic conditions is also desirable. Responsibilities include direct inpatient (with a focus on consultative service) and outpatient clinical care, teaching medical students, residents and fellows, and university/public service. The successful applicant will engage in direct patient care, teaching, service, and clinical and/or clinical and translational research. The selected candidate will have demonstrated excellence in and commitment to teaching.

Candidates must have completed a fellowship in hematology and/or medical oncology and must be eligible for medical licensure in the State of California. Experience in and the ability to teach medical students, residents, and fellows, as well as experience caring for hematology/medical oncology patients, is required. The ability to work cooperatively and collegially within a diverse environment is required.

The division includes 38 clinical and research faculty, five associate physicians; 13 fellows; 11 advanced practice providers; and numerous administrative, financial and research staff. The division operates a large and diverse clinical and research program. The division is a major component of the NCI-designated UC Davis Comprehensive Cancer Center and has a strong presence in the national cancer clinical trials cooperative groups. In 2026, the SWOG Operations Office will move to UC Davis. The division research portfolio is particularly broad and spans laboratory-based early translation to population sciences and health outcome disparities and has consistently the most extramural funding of any division in the Department of Internal Medicine.

The Division of Hematology and Cellular Therapy of the Allegheny Health Network Cancer Institute, primarily located at West Penn Hospital in Pittsburgh, seeks a highly skilled and compassionate physician leader with expertise in Hematology and Cellular Therapy (HSCT and CAR-T). This position offers a Division Chief leadership role in a growing and dynamic Hematology and Cellular Therapy program dedicated to clinical and translational research as well as exceptional patient care.

The Division Chief works with the AHN Cancer Institute Chair and other leaders to develop and implement strategy and processes for patients under the care of the Division of Hematology and Cellular Therapy. The Division Chief shall also maintain all current and future standards of care, both inpatient and outpatient as well as accreditations needed to assure service for the region. The Division Chief will maintain the same standards and accreditations for subdivisions of the Cell Processing and Molecular Hematology Laboratory. The Division of Hematology/Oncology has a growing faculty, with practices in multiple locations in the metropolitan Cleveland area. The essential functions of the position are to provide inpatient and outpatient consultations, longitudinal patient care, teaching and mentoring of internal medicine residents, hematology/oncology fellows, and medical students. Mayo Clinic is seeking a board certified / board eligible pediatric hematologist to join our growing team!  Mayo Clinic is an NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center and a federally designated Comprehensive Hemophilia Treatment Center with 11 pediatric hematologist/oncologists, nine nurse practitioners, and eight specialty nurses.   While the division provides comprehensive care across the full spectrum of pediatric hematologic and oncologic conditions, this role is specifically focused on non-malignant, classical pediatric hematology.

Our non-malignant hematology program provides multidisciplinary, longitudinal care for children with inherited and acquired blood disorders, with particular strengths in bleeding. and clotting, and bone marrow failure disorders. As a Comprehensive Hemophilia Treatment Center, we deliver integrated care for patients with hemophilia and other congenital bleeding disorders, including access to a specialized lab for state-of-the-art testing, specialized nursing, physical therapy, social work, and care coordination services. In addition, our Vascular Malformation Clinic brings together hematology, interventional radiology, surgery, genetics, dermatology, and other specialties to provide coordinated evaluation and management of complex vascular anomalies.

This position is dedicated to the outpatient and inpatient care of children with non-malignant hematologic conditions within a highly collaborative practice. All physicians in the Division of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology share responsibility for the inpatient care of children with blood disorders, cancer, and those undergoing hematopoietic stem cell transplantation at Mayo Clinic Hospital, while maintaining defined areas of clinical focus. The successful candidate will also contribute to the division’s educational mission through teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows. The Department of Medicine (DOM) and Moores Cancer Center (MCC) are embarking on an exciting new trajectory to leverage their significant research and clinical strengths within an environment that values innovation and collaboration. Our goal is to re-envision how we fulfill our academic, clinical, and research missions in addressing hematologic malignancies.

The Hematology and Cellular Therapy Division Chief will be a key member of the leadership teams at both the DOM and MCC. The Division of Hematology and Oncology has established clinical expertise in the treatment of hematologic, pulmonary, gastrointestinal, and breast malignancies and is committed to expanding programs across all oncologic subspecialties. Members of the Division collaborate closely with specialists across the Cancer Center including experts in surgical oncology, gynecologic oncology, and radiation oncology to provide comprehensive, multidisciplinary cancer care. Clinical research is an integral component of the Division and the MetroHealth Cancer Center. After holding the ECOG Cooperative Group grant at MetroHealth for 38 years, the Division and the Cancer Center are full partners (Lead Academic Participating Site) in the Case Western Reserve University National Clinical Trials Network grant. With the assistance of the MHMC oncology research team, all Division members are expected to enroll their patients in NCI, pharmaceutical-sponsored, and investigator-initiated studies.  The Division is closely aligned with the MHMC’s basic science driven Division of Cancer Biology and the Gene and Cellular Therapy Institute.

The successful candidate will play a central role in building and leading a comprehensive cellular therapy network, advancing innovative therapies for patients with hematologic malignancies and other diseases. Advanced practice providers work closely with physicians in a shared practice model. APPs provide care for patients throughout the course of their illness and are involved in initial treatment planning and counseling, assessments, supportive care during chemotherapy treatment, and surveillance and follow-up care after completion of treatment. In addition to working collaboratively with physicians, they play an integral role in coordinating care with other subspecialties, including radiation oncology and surgical oncology. The cancer center includes an active cancer clinical trials program and provides a full range of supportive services, including social work, palliative care, nutrition support, genetic counseling, and patient navigation.

This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to join a collaborative and supportive APP/MD team practice that provides care for patients with hematologic diagnoses who are admitted to the hospital due to complications of their malignancy, complications of their treatment, for palliative care, or for chemotherapy. Common cancer diagnoses are lymphoma, leukemia, and MDS. In addition to treating patients with chemotherapy or on clinical trials, the team manages acute medical problems such as neutropenic fever, nausea and vomiting, pain management, and other acute medical diagnoses. This position offers the opportunity to be involved in every aspect of cancer care including initial diagnosis, treatment, clinical trials, management of complications/acute medical issues, and palliative care.

The position is 100% clinical. The typical morning consists of pre-rounding on patients followed by rounds with the attending physician. In the afternoon, the APP carries out the plan of care for patients, consults with other services as indicated, admits and discharges patients, and performs procedures (including bone marrow biopsy). The ideal candidate is motivated, self-directed, compassionate, enthusiastic and committed to evidence-based practice and lifelong learning. There are many opportunities for learning including teaching on rounds, weekly conferences, monthly staff meetings, and clinical care conferences.

Hematologist

The incumbent will care for patients with hematological and oncologic diseases with a focus on, but not exclusively, breast cancer. Responsibilities include direct inpatient and outpatient clinical care, teaching medical students, residents and fellows, and university/public service. Depending on the faculty series (Clinical X versus HSCP), there will be variable effort towards scholarly activity which may include clinical and translational research. Demonstrated aptitude and/or potential for excellence in these domains is required.

Candidates must have completed a fellowship in medical oncology (board-certified or -eligible at the time of appointment) (hematology desirable but not required) and must be eligible for medical licensure in the State of California. Requirements

• BSN required; Master’s degree preferred.

Compensation Range

• The base salary range for this position is $165,000 to $300,000 annually. In addition, a leader may be eligible for other benefits, including but not limited to health insurance coverage, retirement benefits, and bonuses. The total compensation for the finalist selected for this role will be determined based on various factors, including but not limited to scope of role, level of experience, education, accomplishments, internal equity, budget, and subject to Fair Market Value evaluation. The Division of Hematology and Cellular Therapy of the Allegheny Health Network Cancer Institute seeks a highly skilled and compassionate physician with extensive experience in the diagnosis, management, and treatment of myeloid malignancy, including expertise in allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (alloHSCT). This position offers a leadership role in a growing and dynamic hematology program dedicated to clinical and translational research and exceptional patient care. The successful candidate will be considered for the directorship of the HSCT program.

Position Summary:

The Physician will provide comprehensive medical care to patients with myeloid malignancy, including but not limited to acute myeloid leukemia (AML), chronic myeloid leukemia (CML), myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS), and myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPN). This includes overseeing all aspects of patient care, from initial diagnosis and treatment planning to follow-up and supportive care. A significant component of the role involves participation in the alloHSCT program, encompassing pre-transplant evaluation, conditioning regimen selection, transplant procedures, post-transplant management, and the management of complications.

Duties:

• Provide comprehensive medical care to patients with myeloid malignancy, including diagnosis, staging, treatment planning, and ongoing management
• Perform bone marrow aspiration and biopsy
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, incorporating current best practices and clinical trial participation

We are currently searching for a Board-Certified or Board Eligible Hematologist –Oncologist to join our multi-disciplinary cancer program at The Cancer Institute at Mercy Hospital.  Catholic Health is expanding their highly regarded, thriving Cancer program throughout the continuum. Requirements include:

·       Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Hematology/Oncology

·       NYS Licensed MD/DO

·       2-3 years’ experience preferred

·       Strong Interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage at all levels of the organization to promote a culture of patient safety

Salary Range: $415,409- $670,288K

This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s education, training, skills, licensure and certification, competencies and other relevant experience.
