A postdoctoral position is available immediately to study a new population of B cells called B cell IgD low (BDL) that play an essential role in immune tolerance. We are seeking a highly self-motivated candidate to work in the Dittel laboratory at the Versiti Blood Research Institute (BRI) (https://www.versiti.org/research/blood-research-institute).

Salary is commensurate with NIH guidelines and full benefits are provided.

The Dittel laboratory just received a NIH Director’s Transformative Research Award to develop a BDL-based adoptive cell therapy and is seeking qualified candidates with a strong publication record in immunology to work on the project.

Candidates must have a PhD degree with less than three years of postdoctoral experience. Individuals capable of independent reasoning with experience in animal models, cell biology and molecular biology are encouraged to apply. Candidates should have excellent writing and communication skills.
