The Hematology/Oncology Division at Santa Clara Valley Healthcare is a mission‑driven, patient‑centered team providing comprehensive cancer and blood disorder care to a diverse and underserved community. Our physicians enjoy a balanced mix of outpatient clinic and inpatient consultative responsibilities, delivered within a highly collegial work environment with robust specialty and ancillary support. The division is supported by dedicated infusion services, oncology‑trained pharmacists, advanced practice providers, social work, nurse navigators, and strong multidisciplinary partnerships. We use an integrated, AI‑supported Epic electronic health record that streamlines documentation and care coordination. About the Position

Candidates must be BC/BE in both Hematology and Medical Oncology, with strong clinical training and a commitment to delivering high‑quality, patient‑centered care. The ideal physician is skilled in managing a broad range of malignant and benign hematologic conditions, comfortable with both outpatient and inpatient practice, and dedicated to compassionate, mission‑driven service within a collaborative multidisciplinary environment. The role includes opportunities for meaningful collaboration with Stanford Medicine as well as teaching and mentoring residents and medical students in a supportive academic‑community environment. Ideally the candidate is available to start work upon completion of credentialing.

Providers in our health system also have the opportunity to use our integrated electronic health record (Epic), which brings together systemwide patient information. The Health Information Management Systems Society (HIMSS) recognized SCVMC for achieving its highest level of success (Stage 7), based on our continuous innovation and optimization of our inpatient and outpatient EHR.
