The Division of Hematology and Oncology and the O’Neal Comprehensive Cancer Center in the School of Medicine, Department of Medicine at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) is seeking a board certified/board eligible Hematologist to join our growing Lymphoma team. The position will include working with cell therapy and CART. Various leadership positions are also available. Appointments will be at the assistant, associate or full professor level, tenure earning, tenured or non-tenure earning, commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities include
- Teaching fellows and internal medicine residents
- Clinical Outpatient Service- averaging 2-3 days per week
- Inpatient Service- averaging 10-12 weeks per year
- Clinical Research
Qualifications:
- MD
- Board certified or board eligible in Hematology and Oncology
- Eligible for Alabama license
