Faculty Positions in Hematologic Malignancies, Bone Marrow Transplantation, and Cellular Therapy

 

The OU Health Stephenson Cancer Center seeks several hematologist-oncologists for academic faculty positions in the Section of Hematologic Malignancies, Bone Marrow Transplantation and Cellular Therapy. These positions span education, teaching, research, and patient care with a focus on hematologic malignancies, hematopoietic stem cell transplantation, and CAR-T cell therapy.

 

Rank commensurate with experience. Academic tracks are structured to support a range of career goals and include Clinician, Clinician-Educator, and Clinician-Scientist. Two (2) positions are designated for physician-scientists (MD/PhD or equivalent) and include competitive startup packages to establish independent research programs.

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• MD, DO, or equivalent medical degree from an approved medical school
• Board certification or board eligibility in Hematology-Oncology
• Fellowship training in hematology-oncology with expertise or strong interest in hematologic malignancies
• Unrestricted medical license, or ability to acquire licensure, and DEA in the State of Oklahoma
• Academic credentials commensurate with the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor
• For physician-scientist positions: MD/PhD or equivalent advanced degree, demonstrated research productivity, and commitment to developing an independent research program

 

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience or specialized training in hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (autologous and/or allogeneic)
• Experience or specialized training in CAR-T cell therapy and other cellular immunotherapies
• Research experience in multiple myeloma, lymphoma, acute leukemia, or related hematologic malignancies
• Track record of peer-reviewed publications and/or extramural funding
• Experience with clinical trial design and implementation
• Commitment to mentoring trainees and junior faculty
