The UTMC Cancer Institute is seeking a Board Certified Transplant and Cellular Therapy Physician to join our FACT-accredited program. This is an opportunity to care for patients undergoing hematopoietic stem cell transplant and advanced cellular therapies, including CAR-T cell therapy and TILs therapy, as part of a dedicated, multidisciplinary team recognized for meeting the highest national standards for quality and patient safety. The ideal candidate will have:
· A minimum of two years experience as an attending physician responsible for the direct clinical management of hematopoietic cell transplant patients throughout the continuum of care.
- Appropriate training and demonstrated competency in the management of autologous and allogeneic hematopoietic cell transplantation and immune effector cell/cellular therapies, as applicable to the program’s scope.
- Ability to meet FACT requirements for ongoing education minimum of 10 hours annually of continuing education related to hematopoietic cell transplantation and/or cellular therapy) and annual competency assessment in hematopoietic cell transplantation and cellular therapy.
- Experience with, or demonstrated ability to provide leadership and oversight of, clinical operations, quality management, regulatory/accreditation requirements, and multidisciplinary transplant and cellular therapy care.
