Rutgers Cancer Institute, New Jersey's only NCI-Designated Comprehensive Cancer Center, seeks an academically oriented hematologist/oncologist with a clinical focus in lymphoma, a record of original clinical research, and exceptional clinical skills. This is an outstanding opportunity for an academically driven physician to contribute to cutting-edge clinical research, innovative therapies, and world-class patient care.
The successful candidate will join the faculty of Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School on the Clinical Scholar track, with protected time for clinical research, academic scholarship, and teaching activities. This position offers a unique opportunity to develop a meaningful clinical research portfolio while collaborating with leading investigators across oncology, immunology, cancer genomics, precision therapeutics, and cellular therapies.
Clinical practice will be located in the Jack & Sheryl Morris Cancer Center, a state-of-the-art, freestanding cancer hospital designed to advance cancer research and patient care through multidisciplinary collaboration. The successful candidate will work closely with colleagues across the Rutgers Cancer Institute and RWJBarnabas Health network and will have opportunities to participate in and lead innovative clinical research initiatives. Startup support, protected time, and research infrastructure will be provided to facilitate clinical trial development, investigator-initiated research, and long-term academic growth.
Qualified candidates must have:
- MD/DO/MBBS
- ABIM eligible/certified
- Completed or in progress of completing a 3-year hematology/oncology fellowship
- Have active/be eligible for NJ Medical License
Faculty members are expected to support the educational goals of the school, engaging in teaching and mentoring activities for medical students, residents, and fellows.
