City of Hope Chicago (Zion) has launched a national search for a Board-Certified Hematologist to join our esteemed Chicago team in Zion, IL. The Chief of Hematology will provide leadership to our department of Hematology in clinical, research, and education areas. The Chief will be a highly regarded physician with a collaborative, team-based leadership style, and the ability to leverage and grow our existing, nationally recognized Hematology program. The Chief must also be operationally savvy, with the business acumen and cultural sensitivity to lead within a complex, matrixed organization.

This is a clinically focused leadership position and applicants with significant experience in the treatment of Lymphoid malignancies, Leukemias (Chronic and Acute), or Plasma Cell Disorders (Myeloma) are highly desired.

The leader must possess a breadth of skills, including deep knowledge of clinical practice, a strong commitment to training and the career development of faculty as well as demonstrated leadership and administrative ability.
