Join a Collaborative Academic Hematology Program at UConn Health

The Carole and Ray Neag Comprehensive Cancer Center and the Division of Hematology/Oncology at UConn Health are seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified physician or physician-scientist to join our growing Classical Hematology program as an Assistant or Associate Professor.

This is an outstanding opportunity to become part of a large, highly collaborative hematology/oncology faculty within a thriving academic medical center. The successful candidate will care for patients with classical hematologic disorders while collaborating closely with colleagues across the Division and contributing to our missions in patient care, education, and research. The ideal candidate for this position will complement existing expertise from current faculty in our nationally recognized programs, including a well-established regional Sickle Cell program, the Connecticut Bleeding Disorders Clinic (focused on heritable bleeding disorders) and the Comprehensive Thrombosis and Anticoagulation Program. The position will benefit from a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and provides the opportunity to develop and grow their own area of clinical and academic focus, supported by strong institutional resources and three other faculty members focused primarily on classic hematology.

Faculty with an interest in clinical or translational research will find outstanding opportunities for collaboration through the Carole and Ray Neag Comprehensive Cancer Center and our partnership with The Jackson Laboratory for Genomic Medicine. UConn Health's multidisciplinary cancer program includes strong divisions of Medical Oncology, Surgical Oncology, Radiation Oncology, and Gynecologic Oncology, creating an ideal environment for collaborative patient care and research.
