Dedicated to Discovery…Committed to Care
Cancer Hematology Faculty Positions
The Cancer Hematology Division at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute is seeking full-time hematologists for academic clinical positions within the Department of Medical Oncology. These positions offer an exceptional opportunity to join a growing and highly collaborative program focused on advancing care and improving outcomes for patients with cancer, or a history of cancer, who develop complex non-malignant hematologic disorders. These include disorders of bleeding, thrombosis, platelets, red cells, and white cells. As a member of this service, the successful candidate will provide expert consultative and longitudinal care, working closely with DFCI oncology teams across disease centers to advance
patient-centered, multidisciplinary care.
Successful candidates will be encouraged and supported to develop an academic program aligned with their interests, experience, and divisional priorities. We welcome applicants with a range of academic interests within hematology including clinical investigation, translational collaboration, quality improvement, medical education, and administrative or programmatic leadership. These positions offer an exceptional platform to combine clinical excellence with academic investigation, educational innovation, and program development. The position includes opportunities for collaboration with other institutions affiliated with the Dana-Farber, the Harvard Cancer Center, and the Harvard Medical School.
The chosen candidate will be teaching fellows and students in the ambulatory and inpatient settings.
The academic appointment will be at the Instructor, Assistant Professor, or Associate Professor level at Harvard Medical School and determined by the applicant’s qualifications, experience, and academic accomplishments. Salary and benefits will be competitive with peer institutions. Applicants should have an MD or MD/PhD degree and be board certified or board eligible in Hematology.
