Brown University Health is seeking a hematologist/oncologist for the position of  hematology/oncology hospitalist. The successful candidate must qualify for a full-time medical faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. The candidate will rotate between overseeing the inpatient teaching service at Rhode Island Hospital, performing inpatient consultation and having an outpatient clinic in the specialty of their choice.

Work hours will include only days, Monday -Friday. There will be no night or weekend responsibilities. Minimum requirements include board certification or eligibility in hematology and/or oncology and an excellence of commitment to teaching medical students and house staff. This is an outstanding opportunity for a hematology/oncology fellow who would be graduating in June 2027. The position would quality for a J-1 Visa waiver. The candidate must have excellence in patient care and teaching, and commitment to scholarly participation in the research programs of The Warren Alpert Medical School.
