The Dana-Farber/Boston Children’s Cancer and Blood Disorders Center is seeking a pediatric hematologist/oncologist to be appointed at the Assistant Professor level with specialization in the area of hematopoietic stem cell transplantation at Boston Children’s Hospital (BCH) and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (DFCI). The appointee will become a faculty member in the Department of Pediatrics, Harvard Medical School, and join a superb faculty with strengths in all aspects of pediatric hematopoietic stem cell transplantation. Outstanding applicants will be exceptional clinicians who have demonstrated experience in bringing patients to transplant and caring for patients undergoing hematopoietic stem cell transplantation and other forms of cellular therapies, particularly in non-malignant disease, gene therapy, and initiating and leading clinical research relevant to cellular therapies. A specific opportunity exists in further developing a program in care of patients with graft-vs-host disease. The successful candidate will be expected to supervise Medical Students, Residents, Clinical Fellows and/or Postdoctoral Research Fellows. We are committed to the work-life balance of our faculty.

The Dana-Farber/Boston Children’s Cancer and Blood Disorders Center has a faculty numbering more than 130, with exceptional research and clinical programs in non-malignant hematology, hematologic malignancies, solid tumors, and neuro-oncology.
Qualified candidates should have an MD and/or MD, PhD degree and postdoctoral experience.
Dana-Farber and Boston Children’s Hospital are Harvard Medical School Teaching Hospitals.
The selected candidate may be eligible for appointment at the Assistant Professor level at Harvard Medical School, Department of Pediatrics, commensurate with experience, accomplishments, and teaching responsibilities. The position is based at Boston Children’s Hospital.
The annual base salary range for this position is $170,000–$210,000, which represents the Department of Pediatrics’ reasonable, good-faith estimate at the time of posting.
Final salary will be determined based on skills, experience, education, certifications, and other job-related factors.
