The Johns Hopkins Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center / Department of Oncology at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine is seeking applicants for a senior clinician researcher in Lymphoma Program with opportunity for leadership of the group.  The successful applicant will be charged with leading the growth and expansion of a multidisciplinary group.  The director of the Lymphoma Program will have opportunities for program building, mentorship, and scholarship, by providing leadership to the faculty focused on patient care and research not only in Lymphoma but more broadly within the Division of Hematologic Malignancies and BMT.  The Director of the Lymphoma Program will have unique abilities to interact with ground breaking researchers at Johns Hopkins.

 
The ideal applicant to this position will be an established clinical or translational investigator. The successful candidate should have experience in collaborative research, education, and program building. Research interests could include basic and/or clinical research, in any area (including cytotoxics, cellular therapies and beyond) related to the treatment of lymphoma.    Active trial portfolio will be valuable.

The Lymphoma program currently includes 5 faculty members, who see 400 new patients each year with opportunities for growth in the region.

Education: Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) from an accredited medical school.

Licensure: Board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine and Oncology.

                  Active medical license in the State of Maryland.

 

The referenced salary range reflects base pay, which is based on faculty rank and years in rank.  This salary range does not include all components of the Department of Oncology faculty compensation program or pay from participation in the Department of Oncology incentive compensation programs.
