Job Summary:
The WMCHealth Cancer Center is entering an exciting period of growth as we expand and build a comprehensive, destination cancer program for the Hudson Valley. WMCHealth Network is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible hematologist/oncologist to be based primarily at the HealthAlliance Hospital located in Kingston, NY. This position will play a key role in the ongoing development and enhancement of a regional hematology/oncology program as part of the Westchester Medical Center Health Network (WMCHealth). The incumbent will join a collegial team of exceptional providers in an established hematology and oncology practice as part of our CoC-accredited cancer program. The incumbent will provide care for patients with a broad range of solid and liquid tumors at both our Kingston and mid-Hudson facilities. The position reports to the Section Chief of Hematology & Medical Oncology.
Qualifications/Requirements:
In addition to board certification or eligibility, the candidate must be able to obtain a New York State medical license. Experience in malignant hematology is required. Salary and appointment commensurate with background and experience.
