ADVANCED FELLOWSHIP IN STEM CELL TRANSPLANTATION

The Advanced Fellowship in Blood and Marrow Transplantation at the Dana-Farber Cancer
Institute (DFCI) and Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH) is a 1-year fellowship program
(7/1/2027-6/30/2028) designed to provide comprehensive, clinical and investigative training in stem cell transplantation for individuals who will ultimately pursue a career in clinically applied research in an academic setting. The primary aim of the program is to prepare qualified individuals for careers that have a significant impact on the care and outcomes of patients undergoing stem cell transplantation and on clinical and translational research advances.

At the time of entry into the program, fellows must have already completed training in Medical Oncology (minimum 2 years), Hematology (minimum 2 years) or Hematology/Oncology (minimum 3 years) and be eligible for a limited or full medical license from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

The position is based in both the Department of Medical Oncology at DFCI and the Department of Medicine at the BWH and includes collaboration with other institutions affiliated with the Dana-Farber/Harvard Cancer Center and the Harvard Medical School. An appointment as a fellow at Harvard Medical School is included with this position. The academic appointment will be at the Research (or Clinical) Fellow level at Harvard Medical School.
