The Division of Hematology and Oncology at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine seeks a full-time non-tenure-eligible Clinician-Educator at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor. Responsibilities include expanding the cancer genetics program, developing a cancer genetics clinic, and providing care to patients with hematologic and oncologic conditions in the inpatient setting. The candidate will participate in teaching, research, and clinical trials. Our facilities include a modern 900-bed teaching hospital, outpatient clinic, extensive basic research facilities and a large cancer center supported clinical research office. In addition, there will be opportunities for collaboration and participation within the Division’s Developmental Therapeutics Program.
Qualified candidates will have their MD, board certification in hematology and/or medical oncology, and licensure.
The start date is negotiable, and the position will remain open until filled.
The expected base pay range for this position is $295,000-$365,000. Northwestern University has provided a pay range representing its good faith estimate of what the university expects to pay for the position. The pay offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors including (but not limited to) the experience and qualifications of the selected candidate including years since terminal degree, training, and field or discipline; departmental budget availability; internal comparators; and external market pay for comparable jobs.
