About the Role
As Director, you will lead a multidisciplinary team dedicated to delivering comprehensive, compassionate care to individuals living with sickle cell disease. You will play a pivotal role in advancing clinical innovation, research, and community partnerships in collaboration with Wake Forest University School of Medicine.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic leadership and oversight of the Sickle Cell Disease Program at the Winston-Salem Campus
  • Develop and implement innovative care models that improve outcomes and quality of life including gene therapy and other novel modalities 
  • Foster collaboration across hematology, oncology, pain management, and supportive services
  • Lead and support clinical and translational research initiatives
  • Mentor and educate medical trainees and junior faculty
  • Champion health equity and community engagement
