The Division of Hematology in the Department of Medicine at Stanford University School of Medicine invites applicants for a full-time position as a Clinician Educator (Clinical Assistant Professor or Clinical Associate Professor) to join a dynamic group of hematologists. The position is in a non-tenure line.

 

The major criteria for the Clinician Educator Line are excellence in clinical care, clinical teaching, and institutional service. Proficiency in malignant hematology, with a focus on plasma-cell disorders, Waldenström macroglobulinemia, monoclonal gammopathies of clinical significance, and other mature plasma-cell and lymphoid disorders is essential. The applicant is expected to collaborate with others in the Division to provide expertise in managing patients with malignant hematologic disorders in both the outpatient clinic and the inpatient malignant hematology service. Applicants must have an M.D. or equivalent and be board-eligible or board-certified in Hematology. Applicants must hold, or be eligible to obtain, a California medical license

The expected base pay range for this position is:

  • Clinical Assistant Professor: $282,000 - $296,000
  • Clinical Associate Professor: $309,000 - $370,000

 

This pay range reflects base pay, which is determined by faculty rank and years in rank. It may not include all components of faculty compensation or pay from participation in departmental incentive compensation programs.
