Our lab studies the molecular mechanisms governing protein homeostasis and their role in determining physiologic and pathologic plasma cell states with an eye towards identifying novel therapeutic targets for early phase clinical trials. Techniques used in the lab spans from biochemistry to animal models, passing through advanced molecular and cellular biology approaches. We are a motivated, collegial group of people with a passion for science. The ultimate goal of the lab is to gather a deep understanding plasma cell biology to identify novel molecular targets for therapy to ultimately improve the lives of patients with AL amyloidosis, multiple myeloma and other plasma cell disorders.
