Pediatric Hematologist – Oregon Health & Science University
The Hemostasis & Thrombosis Center and the Division of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology at Oregon Health & Science University is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Pediatric Hematologist to join our team. We are recruiting a candidate with expertise and interest in classical hematology as well as enthusiasm and curiosity for family-centered care, multi-disciplinary input, and clinical conundrums common in the world of hematology. The candidate will join 4 board certified pediatric hematologists and contribute to outpatient and inpatient hematology service as well as share in educational opportunities for a variety of learners, including medical students, residents, fellows, dental residents, and nurse practitioner students. In addition, there are opportunities for both clinical and translational research with opportunities to collaborate with hemostasis and thrombosis researchers across the university. As the only Hemophilia Treatment Center in the state, we see patients from a wide catchment area and serve as a resource to health care professionals caring for patients with bleeding and clotting disorders across our region. We are located in amazing Portland, Oregon with quick access to the Oregon coast, Mt. Hood, The Columbia River Gorge as well as many other spots of jaw-dropping natural beauty! Successful candidates must have a DO, MD, or MD/PhD and be board certified or eligible in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology.
