ADVANCED FELLOWSHIP IN LEUKEMIA

  
The Foley Family Leukemia Fellowship is an Advanced Fellowship in Leukemia at the Dana-
Farber Cancer Institute (DFCI) designed to provide comprehensive clinical training and research opportunities in leukemia. The fellowship is ideal for a physician planning a career that includes clinical and/or translational research in leukemia in an academic setting. 


The Leukemia Fellowship training focuses on the clinical management and study of acute
leukemias, myelodysplastic syndromes, and myeloproliferative neoplasms. The program's
primary aim is to prepare qualified individuals for careers focused on caring for individuals with leukemia and conducting transformative clinical and/or translational research. The Fellow will be appointed a Clinical Fellow in Medicine at Harvard Medical School.


At the time of entry into the program, fellows must have already completed training in Medical Oncology (minimum 2 years), or Hematology (minimum 2 years), or Hematology/Oncology (minimum 3 years) and be eligible for a limited or full medical license from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. The fellowship term is from July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027. A second year to pursue more advanced research may be possible.
