Join Rutgers Cancer Institute in our mission to bridge the gap between groundbreaking research and clinical care! We're seeking exceptional physician scientists to join our esteemed team. As part of the Clinical Investigations and Precision Therapeutics (CIPT) Research Program, you'll play a pivotal role in translating outstanding science into early phase trials, developing novel diagnostic and therapeutic strategies, and fostering bidirectional translation from bench to bedside. In addition to research, education, and teaching responsibilities, you'll collaborate closely with other CINJ programs, accessing state-of-the-art resources and integrated cancer care opportunities.

Our oncology service line is the largest, most comprehensive academic health care system in New Jersey, with a service area covering nine counties with five million people. Our integrated cancer care model offers access to the most advanced diagnostic and treatment options for adult and pediatric cancer patients, including clinical trials, immunotherapy, proton therapy, precision medicine, CAR T-cell therapy and cardio-oncology. Unique opportunities exist for collaborations between clinical and research programs, including clinical trials research, cancer chemoprevention, clinical and basic pharmacology, and Phase 1 clinical trials.

Requirements: Must have MD/DO, be board certified eligible in medical, surgical, or radiation oncology, and have active/be eligible for NJ Medical License. Candidates must have a proven track record of research and clinical success, along with the ability to secure grant funding. Candidates with a research focus aligned with the CIPT program, including areas such as metabolic pathways, DNA repair mechanisms, immune microenvironment, or treatment response markers, are encouraged to apply.
