Adult Stem Cell Transplantation Physician
The Department of Medical Oncology at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and the Department of Medicine, Brigham and Women’s Hospital, announce a search for an Investigator/Clinician at the Instructor, Assistant or Associate Professor level to join the Adult Stem Cell Transplant and Cellular Therapies Program.
The position is based in both the Department of Medical Oncology at DFCI and the Department of Medicine at the BWH and includes collaboration with other institutions affiliated with the Dana-Farber/Harvard Cancer Center and the Harvard Medical School.
The successful candidate will participate in a very active clinical practice that is fully integrated within a large and growing clinical and translational research program and has interest, expertise and experience in the conduct of clinical trials or outcomes research. Candidates with experience in clinical investigation and clinical trial conduct in any BMT field are encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will engage in robust clinical service, clinical investigation and teaching medical students, housestaff, and hematology/oncology fellows in the outpatient clinic and inpatient settings. Academic rank of Instructor, Assistant or Associate Professor at Harvard Medical School will be commensurate with experience, training and academic achievements.
The academic appointment will be at the Instructor, Assistant or Associate Professor level at Harvard Medical School and determined by the applicant's credentials. Salary and benefits will be competitive with other institutions.
Applicants should have an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D., with ABIM certification and should have or be eligible for ABIM subspecialty certification in medical oncology or hematology.
