Saint Luke’s Cancer Institute (SLCI) in Kansas City, MO seeks a BC/BE oncologist to lead our growing team as Chief of Medical Oncology. 


About the position:

•    Hybrid clinical/administrative position reporting to the medical director of the cancer institute 
•    The successful candidate will oversee 18 medical oncologists, a neuro-oncologist and 18 APPs practicing across 4 sites in the metro Kansas City area 
•    In conjunction with the cancer service line director, the chief would be responsible for human resource distribution, quality metrics, support of COC, QOPI, NAPBC accreditation, developing new programmatic initiatives, supporting SLCI initiatives and fostering research across the SLCI enterprise
•    SLCI is a QOPI certified, COC INCP, NAPBC, NAPRC (pending) accredited program and includes medical oncology, gyn-oncology, radiation oncology, surgical oncology and dedicated breast imaging 
•    The Center for Precision Oncology, within medical oncology, supports clinical precision medicine as well as research initiatives
•    A robust research program includes more than 60 active clinical trials supported by a mature research infrastructure
•    The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience as an oncologist within a comprehensive program, along with leadership experience, strong communication skills, people management abilities, and the capacity to effectively navigate a complex healthcare system
