The Division of Hematology/Oncology in the Department of Medicine at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and the Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center is expanding due to programmatic success and seeks a full-time hematology faculty with an interest in benign hematology.  This position will be on the non-tenure-eligible Clinician-Educator track at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor. Applicants with experience in disorders of hemostasis/thrombosis, hemoglobinopathies, developmental therapeutics, and/or innovative clinical trial design are particularly encouraged to apply. Responsibilities include providing care to patients with hematologic conditions in both the inpatient and outpatient setting. The candidate will participate in teaching, research, and clinical trials. Our facilities include a modern 900-bed teaching hospital, outpatient clinic, extensive basic research facilities and a large cancer center supported clinical research office. In addition, there will be opportunities for collaboration and participation within the Division’s Developmental Therapeutics Program. Qualified candidates will have their MD, board certification and licensure.

 

Qualified candidates will have their MD, board certification in Hematology or Hematology/Oncology, and licensure. 

 

The start date is negotiable, and the position will remain open until filled.
