Overview

Tulane University School of Medicine is seeking a BC/BE Oncologist (or Board-Certified Oncologist or Hematologist/Oncologist).  This is a clinical track appointment for a clinician educator.  Qualified applicants should have a strong track record of excellence in patient care and teaching.  Prospective faculty must have a dedicated interest in teaching and trainee supervision as part of Tulane University’s hematology/oncology training program.  Candidates will receive an academic appointment at Tulane School of Medicine at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor level dependent on previous academic accomplishments and experience. The Tulane Hematology-Oncology group is committed to providing outstanding patient care, through cutting edge research trials with a strong focus on clinical research.  

This is an excellent opportunity to build the practice by expanding malignant hematology or in the Bone Marrow transplant program and join a team of eight faculty members. There is a strong non-hematology program and a strong malignant hematology program that includes bone marrow transplantation

Qualifications

·       Experience in gastrointestinal medical oncology or bone marrow transplantation

·       Board Certified Oncologist or Hematologist/Oncologist

·       Completed an Oncology fellowship

·       Desire to join a collegial department that offers the opportunity to build your career with strong professional growth. Need to have an interest in clinical and academia

Compensation:

·       AAMC 50% percentile plus
