The Hemophilia of Georgia Center for Bleeding & Clotting Disorders of Emory and the Department of Hematology and Medical Oncology at Emory University School of Medicine, seeks interested, enthusiastic, and curious fellows to participate in a year-long fellowship focused on hemostasis and thrombosis with the goal of preparing fellows to have a career in hematology that includes caring for patients with congenital bleeding disorders. Fellows will spend time dedicated to clinical care and research. Clinical care experiences will be in the inpatient and outpatient settings under Emory classical hematology faculty's supervision and mentorship.
Applicants must have completed an ACGME certified Internal Medicine Residency and preferably is board certified/eligible in hematology. Applicants must be eligible for licensure as a physician in the state of Georgia; qualify for a DEA license and wish to have advanced training in the management of patients with hemostatic and thrombotic disorders. Fellows that have completed a hematology fellowship and are board certified/eligible in hematology will be at the rank of instructor.
