The Johns Hopkins Division of Hematology is recruiting a full-time adult hematologist with an interest in sickle cell disease and general classical hematology to join our growing division. As one of the few remaining free-standing hematology programs in the country, Hopkins offers a unique environment for interested candidates to work with stellar hematology faculty and fellows with a passion for classical hematology. In addition, with one of the largest comprehensive sickle cell centers in the country, the Division of Hematology provides candidates the opportunity to become an integral part of an internationally-renowned multi-disciplinary sickle cell care team.

The Johns Hopkins Sickle Cell Center for Adults is a leader in care delivery and research in sickle cell disease. The Center provides care to >700 patients with a clinical infrastructure that currently includes a lead physician, 6 advanced practice providers, 2 psychiatrists, social worker, case manager, and community health worker. This integrated team runs an inpatient consult service, outpatient clinics, young-adult clinic, and 7-day/week infusion center. 

Candidates for this position will work closely with our dedicated hematology track fellows on our classical hematology inpatient ward and in our outpatient sickle cell disease and classical hematology clinics.
