The Northside Hospital Stem Cell Transplant, Cellular Immunotherapy and Leukemia Program is a large research-focused center. We have pioneered novel approaches, particularly in the field of haploidentical transplantation. The program includes one of the largest acute leukemia programs in the Southeast as well a multidimensional cellular therapy program with a focus on immunologic approaches to hematologic malignancies including commercial and clinical research CAR-T therapies. Northside Hospital is the only approved TIL therapy program in Georgia for patients with recurrent or metastatic melanoma.

Our volume of allogeneic transplants is in the top 15% of US programs. As the only transplant center nationwide to have demonstrated statistically superior risk-adjusted one-year survival for the past fifteen consecutive years, our outcomes for allogeneic transplantation are among the best in the nation. Our program has its own dedicated clinical research program that generates numerous publications in peer reviewed journals annually. We have been a Core BMTCTN center (2011-2024). We offer the benefits of academia without the bureaucracy. Long term income potential significantly exceeds that in the conventional academic setting.
