Over the past decade, Northside has established a reputation of excellence in oncology. Northside Hospital Cancer Institute (NHCI) has become one of the largest and most respected providers of cancer care in the Southeast with over 14,800 new cancer cases in 2022 and services provided at over 50 locations.  The NHCI is accredited by the American College of Surgeon’s Commission on Cancer as an Integrated Network Cancer Program and is recognized for providing high quality, comprehensive cancer care including screening, diagnosis, research, treatment, and support services.  In 2014, NHCI was awarded a grant, as one of only 34 community sites nationwide, to lead a National Cancer Institute Community Oncology Program (NCORP). The Georgia NCORP (GA NCORP) is dedicated to providing patients throughout the state with access to clinical trials while remaining in their local community.

Northside Hospital, Inc. is comprised of five separate hospitals and an extensive network of state-of-the-art healthcare facilities in Atlanta and the surrounding metro-Atlanta area, having more than five million patient encounters annually.  The five hospitals include: Northside Hospital Atlanta, 1000 Johnson Ferry Road, Atlanta, Georgia; Northside Hospital Forsyth, 1200 Northside Forsyth Drive, Cumming, Georgia; Northside Hospital Cherokee, 450 Northside Cherokee Boulevard, Canton, Georgia; Northside Hospital Gwinnett, 1000 Medical Center Boulevard, Lawrenceville, Georgia; and Northside Hospital Duluth, 3620 Howell Ferry Road, Duluth, Georgia.

The expanded Northside Hospital system now has 1,700 beds, more than 250 outpatient locations throughout the state, nearly 25,500 employees and 4,100 physicians.  To facilitate its provision of services to the community, Northside employs many physicians in a variety of specialties.  As part of this process, it is recruiting new physicians into the area and employing other physicians currently in the metro Atlanta Georgia market.
