The Division of Hematology Oncology in the Department of Medicine at Tufts Medical Center and Tufts University School of Medicine is seeking an exceptional candidate who is looking for full time academic practice in hematology. The position involves outpatient and inpatient care at Tufts Medical Center involving a portfolio focused on classical hematology, including consultation on complex hemostasis and thrombosis in the setting of advanced surgeries, organ transplantation, and high-risk maternal fetal medicine.  The candidate will be joining a group with a long history of excellence across all areas of hematology, including advanced cellular therapies in benign and malignant hematology.

The Division is noted for distinction in fulfilling the missions of high-quality clinical care, research, and teaching in Oncology and Hematology, along with emphasis on fostering faculty development. Division faculty members lead the Tufts University School of Medicine course in Hematology-Oncology, and have a wide range of collaborations across the Tufts Health Sciences campus, including the Medical, Dental, Veterinary, Graduate, and Nutrition schools at Tufts University, the Tufts CTSI, and the regional Massachusetts Tufts Medicine network. 

Who you are:

  • BE/BC in Hematology and Oncology.
  • Demonstrate excellence in patient care, and have an interest in working in an academic environment with exceptional opportunities for clinical practice, teaching and research.
  • Early career and entry level candidates with clinical interests in classical hematology and advanced cellular therapies are particularly encouraged to apply.
