The McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston, Division of Oncology in conjunction with Memorial Hermann Health System Hospital is recruiting for an Assistant or Associate Professor to serve as a full-time faculty focusing on Malignant Hematology in Houston.
This position offers the opportunity to grow a robust clinical program in Malignant Hematology as part of University of Texas faculty, in collaboration with the Memorial Hermann Cancer Center in the Texas Medical Center. Responsibilities include inpatient and outpatient care, as well as teaching, education, and participation in clinical and translational research aligned with the mission of McGovern Medical School and UTHealth Houston.
This position is closely integrated with Memorial Hermann at the Texas Medical Center and serves a large, diverse patient population. The selected candidate will join established multidisciplinary programs within the University of Texas Memorial Hermann Cancer Center. The Leukemia, Lymphoma, and Myeloma program has been recognized as High Performing by U.S. News & World Report in recent years and continues to experience strong growth. The program features a Cellular Therapy Program, including CAR T-cell therapy, as well as a dedicated Bispecific Antibody Therapy Center, offering opportunities to deliver and expand cutting-edge treatments for patients with hematologic malignancies. Qualified candidates must be board-certified or eligible in oncology or hematology.
Strong clinical training and experience in all current treatment modalities. Academic rank and salary will be based on previous experience.
