The Division of Hematology in the Department of Medicine at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, New Brunswick, NJ is seeking a full-time faculty member with an interest in benign hematology to join the Division at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor of Medicine.
The faculty member will have responsibilities on the inpatient and outpatient hematology service, and teach hematology oncology fellows, residents, and medical students. Faculty members will have the opportunity to develop a clinical and/or translational research program and have collaborative opportunities in established clinical and translational research programs. Faculty members may develop focus areas of interest in hemostasis, thrombosis, sickle cell disease, lifespan hematology, systems based hematology, or other areas in non-malignant hematology. The Division of Hematology has an active Hemophilia Treatment Center and sees a broad range of patients with non-malignant hematologic disorders.
To qualify applicants must be Board certified or eligible in Hematology. Rank of appointment will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
