Classical Hematology Positions at nationally ranked teaching facility with Hemophilia Treatment Center

Tampa General Cancer Institute, one of the fastest-growing academic cancer centers in the state of Florida, is actively seeking applications for an early to mid-career physician with clinical focus on benign hematology, including bleeding and clotting disorders, myeloproliferative disorders, cytopenias, sickle cell and other related hematologic disorders. In addition to clinical responsibilities, candidates will have the opportunity to be involved in teaching as well as collaborate with other investigators on cutting edge clinical and translational research.

TGH Cancer Institute is closely affiliated with the University of South Florida Medical School, a highly ranked public research university which is nationally ranked in 6 specialties by U.S. News & World Report. USF has an active Hemophilia Treatment Center with an emphasis on novel treatments including AAV-based gene therapy. There are open positions at both USF and the Tampa General Cancer Institute depending upon the interest and goals of the candidate. There are also plans to develop a qualified treatment center for gene therapy of sickle cell and beta-thalassemia.

The compensation package for these positions includes an excellent base salary along with a bonus structure.
