The department of Microbiology, Immunology, and Molecular Genetics at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine ( is recruiting PhD, MD, or MD/PhD scientists to fill a tenure-track open rank faculty position in the area of Tumor Immunology. The successful candidate will join the thriving faculty of the Markey Cancer Center, an NCI designated center (, whose research programs include a unique blend of basic, clinical and population research. Research areas of interest include basic cancer immunotherapy, tumor microenvironment, cancer immuno-genomics, cancer immune-metabolism, population based immuno-omics, immune monitoring & biomarker discovery, cancer vaccines, and systems biology. Successful candidates will have track records of creativity and productivity, a desire to integrate into our growing community of collaborative researchers, and a dedication to our values of diversity. Candidates will be expected to build and maintain a high quality, extramurally funded research program; contribute to our teaching mission; mentor doctoral students and postdoctoral fellows; and provide service to the University and academic community at a level commensurate with his/her career stage.
